Alec Baldwin
The single Lemon is living every comedy writer's dream — head writer on a demanding, live TV program in New York City. Her life is jolted when Donaghy interferes with her show, and bullies Lemon into convincing Tracy Jordan (Tracy Morgan, Saturday Night Live, The Longest Yard) -- a wild and unpredictable movie star -- to join the cast. Now Lemon must manage the unmanageable so that the show -- and her dream -- can go on.
One of Hollywood's most charismatic and prolific actors — on both stage and in film, Baldwin recently earned raves for his performance in Martin Scorsese's The Aviator and an Academy Award nomination for his role in The Cooler opposite William H. Macy. In addition to his many dramatic credits, Baldwin has proven to be an adept and perennial host of Saturday Night Live (with 12 hosting appearances to his credit). Baldwin was nominated for a 2006 Emmy for his guest appearance on NBC's Will & Grace and his production company, El Dorado Pictures, has co-produced the Emmy nominated miniseries Nuremberg and the feature State and Main.
Among his many stage credits, Baldwin won acclaim and a Tony nomination for his work opposite Jessica Lange in A Streetcar Named Desire which also garnered him an Emmy nomination for its television adaptation.
Other film credits include The Hunt for Red October, Miami Blues, Prelude to a Kiss, Malice, The Shadow, Glengarry Glen Ross, Heaven's Prisoners, Ghosts of Mississippi, The Edge, Pearl Harbor and The Cat in the Hat. Baldwin's next films will be The Departed, directed by Scorsese, and Good Shepherd, directed by Robert De Niro.
