| by Derek Gore Have a question? I saw this movie was I was a little kid. It was made in the 1970s and was a high school's star player getting pressure from his coach to stop hanging around a bunch of partying stoners. In the movie, him and his friends also paddled a younger kid. Sound familiar. The main guy look exactly like Matthew McConaughey's character and his best friend like exactly like Slater. This is really bothering me since I know they made this movie, but I can't remember the title. Comment on this... |

| by velimir ivanov i am from bulgaria,maybe you know it,...it is a small country in south eastern europe... i am amazed by the "waking life" movie,especialy by the thought provoking ideas,it is something which is very close to me,but i am not capable to express it so clearly and understandable... i would like to meet and work together with richard linklater in such alternative movie projects... i have about 2000 movie ideas and reality show and commercial concepts,some of them similar to exposed into"waking life",some of them i suppose aree greater,last night after watching "waking life" i 've writed few ideas inspired by the movie,and if i watch it once more i am sure i will be more inspired and productive... for me this guy and his work is a true precious for the human race...!!! that is it... i am grateful that such artists exist between humans...!!! thanks Comment on this... |

| by I don't even know who i am yet I LOVE RICHARD LINKLATER! As a (hopefully) future filmmaker I would like to say that the films that he makes are the ones that I really hope to make. Waking LIfe and Tape were both some of the best movies I have ever seen (and I've seen A LOT of movies). anyway if I had the chance I would marry him (and i'm not even gay) Comment on this... |
