He is tremendously knowledgeable , and the conversation is an informative and rich one. Sachs argues far more could be done than is being done now, to deal with global-warming, and global- health and economy issues. I know that there is another line of thinking which does not connect population issues and poverty , global- warming and poverty the way he does. But he makes his case in a strong way. His knowledge of the situation in many different parts of the world , and his positive sense that something can be done and should be done to improve things make a strong impression. April 30, 2008
