THE SERIES WAS EXCELLENT,THE WRITING,ACTING & PLOT WAS ALOT BETTER THAN MOST OF THE SHOWS ON NETWORK TV, HBO OR SHOWTIME! IS THIS SERIES GOING TO BE PICKED UP? ARE THEY GOING TO FINISH THE STORY? IT'S NOT FAIR TO SPEND MONEY & TIME WACTHING A SERIES, THEN YOU DON'T GET THE WHOLE STORY! IT'S LIKE BUYING A BOOK, THEN WHEN THE STORY GET'S EXCITING THE PAGES ARE MISSING!!! Find out who cancels shows "before their time" and FIRE THEM!
I am hoping the Writer's Strike included allowing them to bring a show to a reasonable conclusion in the future.
The employees who are responsible for cancelling shows "before their time" should be FIRED!
That particular list is becoming longer than any of us care to see and as a fellow reviewer points out, the replacement show is not as good as the one "They" prematurely cancel. It's rediculous and I hope someone, the writers, perhaps, can stop this! It is becoming an epidemic: Execs cancel creative show in favor of one of lesser intelligent writing, acting, plot...FIRE THEM NOW! If they're "At Will" employees, today should be their last day. If contracted, I'm sure a violation can be found! Get rid of them, not the shows we are watching! May 7, 2008
A Good Show Gone Before Its Time
This is one show, like 'Firefly', that was canceled by bean-counters and not the lack of fans. I loved the show since early Season one.
And USA is NBC, so that'll tell you WHY the show was canceled - it was original and decidedly non-mainstream. And NBC can't have that. March 20, 2008
Great show + fantastic season... Of course it's canceled
I discovered this show during its 4th season, and was immediately hooked. I love the storyline, and the way they made the characters real and in-depth. I.e. I love the way not all those with powers do well...some suffer tragic ends.
I was really really happy to have found this show, and was looking forward to s5 but I guess that will never happen.

I wonder...
I have to wonder if this show was cancelled because of the wild popularity of the show that directly ripped it off, i.e., Heroes. In my opinion, the WAY the 4400 came by their powers and the WHY of the whole thing is a way cooler storyline than Heroes - I like Heroes, but preferred the 4400. really wish it would've been given a chance to come to a REAL conclusion....
