wonderful, wonderful, wonderful

This is one of the best films I've ever seen - captures the heart of the story better than any other version and shows the reason Heathcliff is what he is which is often lost in adaptations of this story. I cried and cried at the end - It is truly a masterpiece of acting . . . and probably the only time Olivier got billing beneath his co-star. October 23, 2008
