User Reviews
Average user review:I love the writing of Stephen King, and even enjoy some of the movies inspired by his books. However, this movie, I thought was just plain no fun to watch. Very graphic, gorey, and just reaching for the total gross out. I was so excited to see this movie and was just so bummed with the whole thing when I saw it.

Una de las mejores del año
Impagable en b/n la mejor peli de género en años. En España se estrena a finales de año... May 4, 2008
Awesome movie
Awesome movie, lots of creepy monsters of all sizes and shapes, makes for good heart pounding action. But more important, it is a psychological movie, a study of what happens when the elements that hold society together cease to function; that is when the real monsters come out, and those monsters are us. mist
great movie i really like the special effects you cant beat that . the ending was sad to me i wish he did not shoot everyone in the car . It would have been better if he had more hope, then giving up and shooting his kid. i did not like that part at all! May 1, 2008
Please no monsters allowed !!
While Stephen King is an incredible story teller (His books) brought to life on the big screen are o.k. and not o. k. The Langoliers was an incredible story and a good film,if only we never saw the Langoliers. Much like the Mist, the creature that came under the door and got the kid was really fake looking. Now with that book firmly in both hands late at night,my imagination of that creature would have scared me much more. Hollywood needs to understand that character development and the story it self are key,not CGI. Want a good scary story or two? Get the Twightlight Zone. The Black and White are the Best!
