Slacker actress Jane F is having a bad day that is getting more outrageous by the minute. Jane s misadventures begin when she treats herself to a batch of cupcakes left unattended by her psycho roommate (Danny Masterson) that prove not as innocent as they appear. She then bums a ride from her roommate s friend (John Krasinski)and attempts to cross town so she can repay an unforgiving drug dealer attend an audition and somehow replace the precious cupcakes. Crappiest movie ever...

For the people that are seeing this a great movie, I really want to know what you're watching and if it was in fact this movie, where you high when watching it? I was very disapointed in this movie and myself for watching it. It's stupip, plottless, and not funny at all. And there wher so many talented people in it, I had to ask myself why. It's so not funny. There are no jokes, no good lines, nothing, and Anna Farris is the crappiest pothead I've ever seen and John Krasinski was just a waste of talent. I really did not get this movie. It was stupid, and a waste of time... So don't listen to any of the reviews on here that say it's a great, funny movie, because it isn't... June 26, 2008

Well, 3 1/2...

Really, not a bad movie. Drags in some places, but will make you smile.

Okay, so she doesn't act like a real pothead. (I'm trusting other reviewers here. I haven't smoked in a long time.) So what? She's funny!

As for the movie having an "anti-pot" message, I don't think so. She makes a mess of things, and it has a slightly downer ending, but nothing in the tone of the movie suggests that it disapproves of her in any serious way, except that she's a screw-up. In fact, the straight characters are all portrayed much more negatively than her.

Anyway... the main thing is I laughed. And I think you will, too.

great depiction

As a Pot head lots of years ago, while maybe not as stupid as...could relate to so much in this day in the life of a stoner. I've seen lots of pothead films in my years and this one has the best depiction of what being stoned on pot is like. However the scene in that 70s show when Eric is getting questioned by Red and the wall paper is moving is still lots of great fun. BTW Danny Masterson is in this film as the roomate. If you're a pothead from anytime period check out this film - all you need is to want to remember what it all was like when you couldn't stay focused on what you were doing or why! June 3, 2008

Warm, Light, Funny and makes one Laugh

This was one of the better movies I have seen lately. The star is a gal who grows on you throughout the movie. She is darling and funny as all get out. Just a light, funny, enjoyable laugh. Had to put it in my collection. May 26, 2008

Quite Hilarious

I rarely buy films but I'm buying this hilarious-leave-your-brain-at-the-door movie because I know every few years I'll put it on with friends and LAUGH. The lead actress, Anna Faris, is a talented physical comedy actress - something that's difficult to do well. She can be both over-the-top and understated all at once. If you hate the idea of anyone smoking marijuana than this film is not for you. Otherwise, a joy. April 10, 2008
