There are some wonderful moments in these cartoons - my all-time favorite is Donald and the bee fighting over the radio. Worth the price, which is better than in the stores.
June 9, 2008Walt Disney Treasures The Chronological Donald, Volume 3 (1947 - 1950) holds with the tradition of class Disney cartoons. On the whole the cartoons are funny wholesome entertainment which entertain without a bunch of corruption. Unlike a lot of the current cartoons these cartoons rely on slapstick and other resources to entertian the viewer.
These are a treat for the whole family and should be purchased before they are no longer avalible.
May 12, 2008I really love Donald Duck and I have waited during many years to have the opportunity to buy an only Donald Duck DVD. If you like the style of Walt Disney cartoons, it is really a good one. For me, these are also souvenirs of my youth. It is really a good DVD and the bonus with some interviews are very well done. It is a product of quality. Micheline Anne Montreuil

Of all the classic Disney animation, Donald Duck remains the most entertaining character. No other captures the fundamental self centered human nature quite like he does. The fact that my children in the modern age of animation (Shrek and the like), thoroughly enjoy his cartoons as I did and my father before me, really proves them to be true classics. If it weren't for Leonard Maltin's irritating politically correct explanations, I would have given the product a 5-star rating, as these could have been done in a written note on the DVD inner cover. They are most frustrating when the DVD is viewed often.
