About American Chopper Season 6 - DVD Set
American Chopper, Discovery Channel's mega-hit featuring Paul Teutul, Sr. and his sons, rides again. Join the boys at their Orange County Choppers garage where they're up against deadlines, and each other, to create the world's most outrageous custom motorcycles. The arguments fly right along with the sparks in this celebration of man over machine, and one family's struggle to run the business of their dreams. Season 6 (Part 1): In the Season 6 opener, the guys of OCC head to Wendy's headquarters in Dublin, Ohio to do some research for a bike that will be auctioned off to benefit the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. Then watch as OCC teams up with Sunoco and Nascar driver Kyle Petty to build a bike that will benefit the Victory Junction Gang Camp. Lights, Camera, Bill Murray! It's celebrity time at OCC when the Hollywood actor commissions OCC to build him a chopper inspired by his Caddyshack character, Carl, which is then auctioned off to benefit the St. Vincent's Mobile Hospital.

I believe these sets are privately produced by Amazon, definitely not by the Learning Channel's production company. This is a bare bones set. NO special features, not even a disk menu to choose episodes on each disk. Discovery did much better with seasons 1-3, these new sets leave much to be desired, and at around $5 per episode, the price is steep. Still fun if you want to have these episodes. Come on Learning/Discovery- you can do better than this!!!!! May 29, 2008
| Cheap quality, Same good show, though! |
On a good note, the show is still excellent and provides lots of entertainment. I love American Choppers. I just hope they choose a better company next time to release the dvds, just for their sake, because pirating is going to be an issue with seasons 4-5-6 (which I bought). February 13, 2008
