About Hellsing Ultimate Volume 3
As the OVA sequel to the vampire-adventure Hellsing builds toward its climax, the carnage continues, but with new targets. Sir Integra Hellsing meets with representatives of the Vatican's Iscariot Organization to discover who launched the ghoul-army against her headquarters in the previous episode. The perpetrators are the Millennium Brigade, a cadre of Nazis who moved their research program involving the undead to South America after WW II--with the assistance of the Pope. Hellsing dispatches Arucard and Seras to Rio de Janeiro on a "search and destroy" mission against the Millennium Brigade. The cover of the disc promises "a carnal bloodbath of epic proportions," and Hellsing delivers. Arucard attacks a human SWAT team, impaling its members on flagpoles, shooting them at point-blank range, and ripping out their throats with his fangs. As the entire series to date could easily fit on two discs, this release pattern seems chintzy. (Rated 16 and older, but more appropriate for 18 and older: graphic violence, violence against women, sadism, grotesque imagery, tobacco use, profanity, potentially offensive religious imagery) --Charles Solomon Amazon.com

Bloodbath in Rio!
There is also the introduction of Father Enrico Maxwell, the snake-like leader of Section XIII Iscariot organization (and the one holding Paladin Alexander Anderson's leash), who give Sir Integra information on Millennium, the Nazi organization responsible for the recent outbreak of manufactured vampires in England. With this information, she sends Alucard, Seras Victoria and Pip to Rio, to find out more about Millennium.
But soon Alucard and Seras are framed by Millennium as terrorists, which propmts an immediete resonse by the Rio police and S.W.A.T. team (all supervised by Millennium member Tubalcain Alhambra). What results is that Alucard goes on a bloody rampage, killing the S.W.A.T. members trying to destroy him and the Draculina - and ultimatly resulting in a confrontation with Alhambra, as well as a revealation into Millennium's plans.
Being this is the final Hellsing chapter under the Geneon brand (the rest, as well as the re-release of the first three, being handled by FUNimation), this doesn't disappoint if one is looking for a bloody, action-packed chapter. A MUST-BUY in my opinion! July 10, 2008

Why I Love it
Great series so far but one thing that annoys me alot!
The Hellsing organization has a meeting with their rival to talk about the group responsible for attacking them. Later Arucard is ambushed in a hotal and given strict orders by Integra to kill anyone who stands in his way. The result is a gory bloodbath and a very intense battle with a strong foe.
The animation is very consistent and fluid during the battles. The character designs are well done and the soundtrack is still bangin' for the most part. The dialogue is still just as good as the first two volumes. A little better in this one to me.
Now the major problem I have with this series so far. I usually don't mind the little shifts in scenes to the comical comic strips and exaggerated faces with oversize tear drops. But that doesn't fit with Hellsing at all. An anime like this should never lose its dark and serious tone. The first two volumes had contained this but in small doses. This one it got a bit out of hand and just became annoying to me. If it wasn't for the fact that Arucard is such a cool, ruthless, and very easy to love character. To include those scenes haven't included him. I probably would stop right here with this volume. Its hard to continue taking a dark anime like this serious when it features something like that for one second.
I'm not saying this is a bad anime at all but thats my one gripe with this. It just doesn't belong in a serious, dark, killfest like this. It deserves the Angel Cop and 8-Man treatment. November 12, 2007
