About Guyver, Vol. 6: Pandemonium's Ransom
The twelve Zoalords are united. Aptom is on the prowl. Guyot is on a desperate rampage. Relic’s Point has been transformed into an absolute war zone. Guyot flees his pursuer to the underbelly of the base in a last ditch attempt to stay alive. When the situation turns sour for the traitorous Zoalord, his actions threaten to cause total destruction. Aptom has set his sights on the elite hyper-Zoanoid team, and won’t rest until he’s devoured them all.

Average user review:| A quality continuation of a great saga |
With the chase involving Arkenphal and Guyot coming to a fasinating conclusion, the climax of Sho's efforts to gain control of the creators ship, and the ever scheaming Aptom still on the loose, there's plenty to keep fans the on the edge of their seats. Some glorious battle animations and quality voice acting make this lastest volume a thrilling complimation of ultra-violence and sci-fi drama.
My main crititism would be the whirlwind speed in which the story begins to unfold. Where previous volumes set the scene at a decent pace, this one seems to hurry the story alongrather rudley. Another, final moan is the fact that this volume only has three episodes opposed to the usual four. Which brings the value for money the DVD has to offer into questionable territory. April 1, 2008

| This volume is the opposite of the last one. |
This volume begins with Guyot on the run from the Zoalord Leader. He narrowly escapes but eventually has to face him anyway. To include Aptom confronts the remaining Team 5. Aptom's new form is pretty bad. The character design is just awesome to me. Some of the battles are pretty good, but to me they were never really groundbreaking. The suspense is pretty high in this one as well. Overall the story is shaping up pretty good, but I just hope the next and final volume is something special. Judging by the previews its does look promising.
Now this is what I'm not satisfied with at all. This volume is only 3 episodes with the same price tag as all of the other ones. I feel they should have just waited awhile longer and put them all on one disk.
If you been following the Guyver up to this point. Then there's no reason to stop now. Overall it has been very good up to this point. I just had my own expectations. If you haven't seen this by now, then you should definitly check out this series. September 11, 2007
