The Condemned (2007)

Jack Conrad is a death row prisoner in a corrupt Central American prison who is "purchased" by a wealthy television producer to take part in an illegal reality game show. Brought to a desolate island, Conrad finds himself trapped in a fight to the death against nine other condemned killers from all corners of the world. With no possible escape - and millions of viewers watching the uncensored violence online - Conrad must use all his strength to remain the last man standing...and earn his only chance at freedom.

Great movie

I'm not a big movie watcher, but this was a good movie. I'll watch it again. October 16, 2008

The best from wwe productions so far. WHAT?

I really did like this movie. But I shouldn't be too surprised because if Vince had anything to do with this. It was definitly going to be sick. The movie isn't really all that original. But it does have non stop action.

The movie is about a producer who takes a bunch of convicts on death row and place them in a reality tv show. The rules are they fight to the death. With the survivor gaining his freedom and some money. A special twist was added as well. Explosive ankle collars were attached to each of the contestants. The event featured people of many backgrounds. To include a husband and wife.

The fight and death scenes were pretty good. There was also a decent amount of gore. Some people just get beaten up BAD! Stone Cold's character was really no different from his wwe character. He also had some good lines. What I did appreciate about this. It wasn't just focused on Stone Cold the entire time. The other characters were pretty well developed and got in some fight time. Vinnie Jones played a very ruthless villian. I really did like his role. This added a bit more to the movie for me.

Overall this is the best wwe produced product up to this point. Even if you're not a fan of wwe or wrestling in general. I think this is at least good for a rental. WWE and Stone Cold fans should definitly see this. June 22, 2008

great movie

I knew I had to see this movie as soon as I seen the trailer. Unfortunately, I didnt get a chance to see it until a couple months ago. This is a great action movie, that takes "Surviving the Game" and makes it ten times better. I have watched other WWE movies, and I personally like Stone Cold as an actor better, than say John Cena or Kane. His attitude and screen presence demands attention. April 6, 2008

I absolutely love the condemned. It has just enough action, especially if you are a stone cold steve austin fan. It was worth the money. February 8, 2008

My son wanted this movie for Christmas and I have always had good luck with ordering movies from Amazon so I naturally went straight to Amazon and ordered - as usual no worries, ordered and received no problem. Price and shipping were great.
