Flashdance (1983)

Classic Movie. Still great after all these years!!!!

Yes, I am a child of the 80's, so I am partial to this movie along with many other 80's movies as well, but I will say that this movie is one of the most memorable movies of it's time, and has stood the test of time well.
It is still popular today with people of all ages.

Jennifer Beals was HOT! Every guy I knew dreamed of being with her, and she made her mark with this movie.

I totally recommend this movie to anyone, and it is truly one of the great movies.
People still talk about it today!!!

My review is of the vendor MOVIEMARS, and the way they (don') conduct business, three weeks I placed an order w/MOVIEMARS, and paid for an order of a Special Collector's Edition w/Bonus CD(included). They shipped the wrong DVD, at this time I have paid(twice the standard price) for the
Special Edition, but I received the standard edition DVD. Three weeks and four e-mails later all I receive from them is a 'form letter/canned response' reply, I have asked them to just send me the CD that I paid for. Their solution to THEIR MISTAKE is for me to send back to them - so that thay can 're-send' back to me. To my way of thinking this is just so WASTEFUL and UNNECESSARILY COMPLICATED, instead of two mailings(putting
more strain on an already overburdened Postal System), they only need to send me my CD(which I have already paid for), to make things right! Amazon, MOVIEMARS is BAD for your BUSINESS, they don't know THEIR BUSINESS, so they shouldn't be in BUSINESS! May 12, 2008

80's Flashdance flashback is great fun

This movie is probably considered a chick flick, but it's more than that. It has great music and really fun dance scenes. The 2 plots lines are very good. First where she is trying to get in to a serious dance school and second, her romance with the rich boss. You can't go wrong with this 80's flashback. It's really good fun. March 9, 2008

All TIme Fave

One of my all time favorite movies. I love the music. I love the dancing. I love the Cinderella story. Gee, what's not to love. Definitely a chick flick. February 8, 2008
