Dr. Samantha Sheppard’s (Kate Ashfield - Shaun of the Dead) life is thrown into chaos when doctors inform her that her son has leukemia and needs compatible blood to survive. Obliged to tell her husband (Hugo Speer - The Full Monty) he is not the child’s biological father, Samantha rushes to Australia to find the real father (Tom Long - The Postcard Bandit) - a convicted criminal who escapes from jail and disappears just as she arrives. Desperate to find this dangerous fugitive to save her son, Samantha leaps into an underworld of traps and violence, where she must be quicker and smarter than the cops - who are closing in with guns drawn to take this ruthless convict down.
