I just recently purchased this video on Blu-Ray, and I have to say, it is fantastic. I didn't actually expect the video quality to be that great, considering the fact that you need some pretty nice cameras to capture a very high definition picture. I was partially right, and I think it has a great deal to do with the lighting. Certain cameras at certain times with the right lighting look wonderful, where as other views of the concert look somewhat grainy. The picture quality is still great, and the lighting effects are mind blowing. With that said, I will now mention what I believe to be the most amazing part about this video, the audio. I can't speak for the DVD version, but the Blu Ray version has crystal clear audio. It literally sounds as if you are sitting in the audience, or maybe even better. Great picture and amazing audio would be worthless if the music itself wasn't also great, and it is. Some tracks worth noting: "Echoes" "Shine on you Crazy Diamond" "Comfortably Numb" "High Hopes" and "Coming Back to Life". If you are a Pink Floyd fan, I cannot see how you could be disappointed with any of these songs. Seeing Rick Wright do his thing on the keyboards, with such delicate perfection, smiling the entire time, makes this video worth purchasing alone. I cannot recommend this video more, if you are considering buying it, I suggest to stop thinking, and buy it now. If you have a high def output and surround sound, you are in for an unbelievable treat. October 3, 2008

I bought this based on the reviews out here, and boy were they right! You come to expect the musical perfection from David Gilmour, and these DVDs don't let you down in that regard, but the visual spectacle is amazing. Even w/o the Blu-Ray version, the crispness and colors make this a DVD worth watching time and again. As far as the special guests, I love them all, but David Bowie's version of Comfortably Numb surpasses them all! September 19, 2008

rating: 5 QuoteThe most impressive video of a concert I've ever seenQuote
As an old Floyd fan (saw the Meddle tour in '71 at Carnagie Hall)I got this on a whim to demo my BluRay player and was bowled over. It is the most breathtaking video of a concert I've ever seen. Not only are the Pink Floyd classics worth the price of the disk by themselves, but some of the solo performances by David truly demonstrate his genius.

Put the kids to bed, turn out the lights, crank up the 5.1 sound and be transported to another place and time - no chemical enhancement required. September 15, 2008
