Ghost Rider (Full Screen Edition)
all the studio hype about this movie was not enough. The only way they could have previewed all the great scenes for you would be to just run the movie. Great movie, great acting, great action and special-effects. The only reason I did not give it all stars is because I don't think such a movie exists. If it did, I would've been so excited that I would've had a heart attack and not been able to write this review. This is a must buy. May 12, 2008

rating: 5 Great
This product was in great condition and arrived in a timely fashion. I was very pleased with the product and the price. May 12, 2008

rating: 3 Um...
This is a terrible movie. So why did I give it three stars?
1. "Ghost Rider" was my favorite comic as a kid.
2. I love motorcycles
3. Nicholas Cage is an interesting actor

Otherwise... this would be as forgettable as "The Punisher." April 29, 2008

Ghost Rider starring Nicholas Cage is a fun but predictable film. Cage is wonderfully cast as Johnny Blaze but jeez who's dummy who cast Eva Mendes, that gal can't act! Peter Fonda, Sam Elliott, and Wes Bently also star, each have great moments in the film. The special effects are the best thing in the film but the story is muddled so that's why I give the film only three stars. Definitely one to watch, give it a chance. April 29, 2008

rating: 4 Four For Fun
This movie was camp even by comic book standards,
and some of the dialog was awful and I loved every
second of it.

Perhaps I liked it because I had no expectations,
not having read the comic.

I am unaware of films when they are released,
learning of them later when I come across them
on DVD, in this case at my local library.

The plot is great.
How could you not like it.
Man sells soul and services to devil for favors.
Devil collects by turning him into a ghost rider,
a monstrous flaming skeleton bounty hunter for souls
on a flaming chopped Harley from Hell.

Yeah, I think I'll check this one out.

I watched it, I loved it, I immediately put it
on my Amazon wish list.

One huge problem I have with this and many other
movies is the complete ignorance of the
philosophical and theological foundations of
the plot for their films. This film uses the
Christian world-view as the foundation for its
plot. Why not represent it somewhat accurately.

"he has my soul, but he doesn't have my spirit"
Same thing doofus.

The devil's "son": "I don't have a soul"
Who came up with that?!
The devil is an angel. An angel has a soul.
How does an angel have a son? They don't reproduce?
If one did, the offspring would certainly have a soul.

I know that the story is utterly fantastic anyway,
but the lack of consistency bothers me.

This meeting of the Monster, Comic, Camp, Biker,
Supernatural, Western and Love story
is guaranteed mindless entertainment.
