For A Few Dollars More, the second Leone film of the dollars trilogy with Clint Eastwood,Lee Van Cleef and Gian Maria Volonte, who gives a riveting performance as the sadistic gang leader,El Indio,a stoner with an ambition to heist the largest bank in El Paso,as Eastwood and Van Cleef, both bounty hunters plan to hunt down Indio's cutthroat gang and split the winnings,as the plot thickens, bullets are flying everywhere eliminating anyone who stands in the way of collecting a bounty or a bankroll, time is winding down to the final climax, another classic Sergio Leone film. One of Eastwood's and Leone's greatest movies. Realistic, symbollic and subtle, all at the same time. Eastwood as "Blondie" and Lee Van Cleef as Col. Mortimer [the Man in Black] are excellent in their mutual animosity and gruding cooperation. "Indio" is truly evil and fascinating in his unrepentant greed. September 1, 2008

If Clint Eastwood didn't win an Academy award for this movie, he should have. This is a story about three men. All of whom are very, very greedy. Each one of them possesses their own set of rules regarding getting the "goods". This is an older movie that was first released in the 1960s (I was just a mere kid then). I remember it fondly because of its unforgettable musical score. I have that tune on my cell phone now. I remember that either the score or that particular cut won an award the following year. Anyway, if you like westerns, you'll love this one. April 7, 2008

Morricone's musical score makes this film a masterpiece in Eastwood's second installment of the man with no name trilogy. One of my favorite westerns of all time. Five stars! January 14, 2008

For a Few Dollars More DVD

This is one of the spaghetti western movies that launched Clint Eastwood eventually onto a path of fame and fortune. It's worth watching just to see how far he's come.

Recommended for fans of the spaghetti western and Clint Eastwood.
