after 4 seasons of Scrubs the show continues on its all funny and sometime silly ways. While i didnt love each and every episode. I still found myself laughing out loud more often than not and that's what i really enjoy about the show. I can pop in a disc and commence to laugh my troubles away. A few of the episodes are sad and what not, but its to be expected being the characters do work in a hospital and death is all around them.
But they manage to keep the show going and you can tell that the actors are very comfortable with their roles and the changes that they all have gone through since first starting there. 5th season of the show works on a few levels and doesnt have the characters in the hospital the whole. As they venture out living their personal lives and still having fun as well.

I bought this for my 18 year old daughter who is absolutely in love with SCRUBS. We watch it all the time on tv and I have to admit, no matter how many times I see the same episode over and over, it's still hilarious. These people work so well together and are such a good contrast with each other that it makes it believable and so funny. If you haven't watched SCRUBS, you are really missing out.

What certain people will notice about Scrubs Season 5 is that it has become totally gay and somewhat frivolous. The light hearted quirkiness that balanced the edgy depth of the writing and characters has become juvenile, tedious, self indulgent and at times it is painful to watch. Its no longer clever or inventive, it is truly childish. The writing seems rushed with the serious tones of the show tied up in a red ribbon with a few contrived statements and a momentary serious facial expression. Many will continue to give the show 5 stars because they are firmly indoctrinated to the dumbing down process that is prevalent in almost every facet of society and are quite probably totally unaware of it. Hey, theres a reason a mindless show like Friends last ten seasons. Of course it still has its moments and for fans there is plenty to enjoy but it is clearly the beginning of the end. Another great series descending to mediocrity.
