February 28, 2008I have searched for this movie for the past three of four years to complete my mom's Mel Gibson movie collection! I was ecstatic to find it not only in stock but at a reasonable price! It will make a lovely Christmas present. Momma will be thrilled. =)

As a teenager I watched this on Beta. Of course when the DVD came out I had to have this classic movie. I must say - it did not disapoint. The action was fantastic. The plot very well made. The characters completely believable. I really enjoyed watching the movie and I highly recommend it to all WW2 movie fans. A notch below saving private ryan.
June 12, 2007This was one of the first movies I remember seeing on TV when we got cable. Love the movie, very underrated. Remember seeing Mel Gibson on a talk show saying how much he didn't like making this movie, but I thank him anyways...
May 3, 2007I was pleasantly surprised that the movie is so good! Great and noble story, convincing performances and realistic location. I am a John Phillip Law fanatic and I think his acting in this movie is top notch!! Of course, he is as handsome as can be. He must be about 45 years of age when he made this movie. He sure is growing older nicely. I'm glad I own this miovie so I can enjoy it when the mood strikes.
