The price was right, but the program was not as good as I remember as a child.
July 1, 2008I bought this as a gift for my parents and they really love it. It is good clean entertainment/humor. Remember the good old days?

These are the same 10 episodes as you can get in the bigger MPI set. I gave it to my sister for her birthday, since I had those on the other set. When will any other episodes be put out?
May 6, 2007I am absolutely thrilled to see that more of the classic Petticoat Junction episodes from season one are about to be released. Junction fans let's hope that the incredible Linda Kaye Henning once again graces the screen by introducing each episode like she did with the first collection from season one which was released in 2005.
Ms. Henning has wonderful stories about Petticoat Junction and her insight, class, and and beauty remind us why we all wanted to visit the Shady Rest.
Thank you, Linda, and thank you for all involved in sharing this classic program. Your time, effort, and work made the first collection of Petticoat Junction programs an absolute gem to treasure! Dave
