If you order this item as I did from the States, be aware that there is a VAT fee of about £4.74 (depending on exchange rate). BUT the Post Office will cheerfully charge you £8.00 to collect the VAT - making a surcharge of £12.47. My advice - order it in the UK.
September 5, 2008a great murder mystery that is full of twists and turns and at times can make you feel uneasy. it can be slow when it goes into details of each characters lives but i really enjoyed getting to know each of them and their dark secrets. and if these series doesn't make any sense it helps if you watch the movie which was also pretty trippy.
June 24, 2008If you've seen the first season, then you have to see the 2nd! The Laura Palmer murder is solved less than halfway through, and lots of interesting sub-plots come into focus for the rest of the season. (There is one not-so-exciting transition episode, but then it picks back up again.) Also, there are a lot of episodes in season 2, so it will keep you busy for awhile.
February 8, 2008Amazon is great. I have never had a problem with Amazon. My order was received exactly as expected, on time and in perfect condition. I have been waiting for the remaining part of the Twin Peaks saga on DVD for a long time. This second season DVD set is much better video quality than the first season, although it is still not great. Unfortunately the Log Lady intros are appalling in quality although the content stays as contentious. Twin Peaks is a series you either like or hate. I happen to like the Dali like surrealism and amazingly banal observations on life that are interjected with a real crime thriller. If you get it, then this is for you. If you do not get it, then you need not bother. But then you are probably not reading this comment. If you got this far, buy this set and enjoy.
