The video is really good and I play it all the time in our Jazz Club.
Everyone seems to enjoy the video. Very good quality. July 12, 2008

This is a sad example of Oscar Peterson due to the lack of a driven rhythm section. If Ray Brown and Ed Thigpen had been available this would be a much better show. I was disapointed with the whole thing,a total waste of money. June 2, 2008

When I first played this DVD, the video images were DARK and the AUDIO was very LOW. Since I played other DVDs on this same machine, I thought it was a defective DVD. Not so. In another machine, The Berlin Concert came through like gangbusters. The artists performances and everything else connected with this DVD are fantastic. If you want to hear Oscar Peterson play some signature songs, please purchase this DVD. He is, without a doubt, amazing and so are his sidemen, bassist and drummer.

Oscar Peterson is just unbelievable. Along with bassist Niels-Henning Oersted this is a great DVD. April 27, 2008

Of all Oscar Peterson media that I own (and I do own most of the recordings and videos that are available), this is the one I dig out when I want to show someone what Oscar was about. The video production is only adequate, but any shortcomings are forgotten once Oscar hits his stride. "Blues Etude" is amazing... I'd heard recordings of it, but it's a whole new thing to watch the hands in action. Pianists will find it exhilarating and humbling at the same time. My only quibble is that only two of the three sections of his "Bach Suite" were included... I'm sure he played the whole thing at the concert... maybe they had technical problems. If you're interested in seeing Oscar in peak form, this is probably the best purchase you could make. February 15, 2008
