Very touching!

This is by far one of the best movies that highlights the life of John Paul the Great. Jon Voigt is amazing in his portrayl of JPII. This is a wonderful video for Catholics and non-Catholics alike! July 6, 2008

Pope John Paul II

This is a powerful, moving movie about the man who touched people near and far throughout his life in the many roles he played-adolescent, seminarian, priest, Bishop and later, Pope. Cary Elwes and Jon Voight bring Pope John Paul II to life in stunning, loving and respectful portrayals of him throughout his years. It's like a living history book with the primary message of good trumping evil despite the difficulties presented. This movie is well worth watching!!! April 4, 2008

Moving!

I met Pope John Paul II both as a young pope and when he was dying. In watching this video, I thought at some points I was actually seeing Pope John Paul II. Cary Elwes and Jon Voigt really captured the spirit of John Paul beautifully. An excellent movie that even my teenagers in the parish are enjoying. October 30, 2007
