Cannibal (2006)

In 2003, a man with a lifelong cannibalistic obsession placed an advertisement on the Internet in search of a victim to eat. Unbelievably he received a reply from a willing victim, whereby the stage was set for one of the most awful and depraved crimes of modern times. The gruesome incident was captured on camcorder and the footage formed part of the evidence at the trial of the world's most infamous cannibal.

Nothing Like The Book or Actual Events

Read the book. It is disturbing and there is actually quite a bit of dialogue between the two that actually occured. It also establishes what types of people and what types of emotions these two have. The movie does neither and actually portrays the characters in a different and boring light. No script. Pure trash. If you want to watch two naked guys in a room with no dialogue with no purpose this is for you. No stars. Wasted money. June 8, 2008

Extremely beautifully filmed movie

This is an extremely beautifully filmed movie. There are of course things to take into consideration before watching it(homosexual scenes and extreme gore.) This is not just "gay porn" as some reviewers have suggested. There are lots of nude scenes but if there had been opposite sexs involved, nothing would be made of it. Neither did this film ruin me for life. Yes it is extremely gorey but its really needed to tell the story. I do have a warning for Hostle type movie fans... this movie probably isn't for you. This is a drama that just happens to be gory. If you enjoy arty films and can deal with the gore and some homosexualality, check it out.

Interesting for perverted people, but rates very poor from a filmlovers point of view.

Marian Dora for sure is not a gifted cinematographer.
I don't like to see puppets hanging around in trees. Some awkward scenes even made me burst out in laughter. (These particular scenes unfortunately
were meant seriously, it appears.)

I found my purchase to be a waste of money. But if you're a really sick individual, and a really lonely homosexual person with cannibalistic
tendencies and looking forward to what must be one of the worst
melodramatic and cliché-ridden pieces of perverted pellicular crap,
this one for sure is a must-see for you. December 14, 2007
