Otis is the life of the party...at the barn. Otis is a young bull and he's popular with all the other barn animals. They act like the usual animals at the farm. However, once the farmer turns in for the day, it's party time!

Otis' father, Ben, is the leader and protector of the farm. He has warned Otis that soon it'll be his time to defend the farm. One night, after fighting with the coyotes, Ben dies. The leadership is then passed on to Ben, who, of course, doesn't want it but has no choice.

Unsatisfied and ravenous, the coyotes return and Otis, the partyer, is put to the test.

The movie has a simply plot but it works. It's hilarious and cute as well, especially the nosy neighbor.

And yes, the bulls have udders. I think it's cool for a change. And for those reviewers who claim that Hollywood didn't do their research, perhaps you're behind on certain things. *Barnyard* is actually a cartoon series, shown on one of those channels, Toon or something like that. I enjoyed the movie, thought it was funny. I will watch anything that has Sam Elliott in it, but I couldn't get past the whole 'bulls with udders' thing. Wouldn't that confuse kids? If it hadn't been for that, I'd have given it four stars. March 24, 2008

After reading a few of the reviews, I am completely disappointed in the lack of commendation this movie has received. Barnyard is light-hearted and guaranteed to make you smile..maybe even laugh. I think people are reading way too far into this movie. It's a children's flick, not a monumental, moving drama! If you can't sit back and be a kid again for an hour, go watch CNN! February 29, 2008
