Alice Cooper 30 years later

It's hard to believe that in 1972 I was still in High School and first saw Alice Cooper in Concert. I thought he was the GREATEST!!!

Fast forward 36 years later as I watch this HD DVD concert from the comfort of my own home, sipping a diet Coke, having given up drinking (like Coop) years ago.

It's true, you can never go home, and as I watched this dvd, I couldn't help but be reminded that Vince Furnier aka Alice Cooper never could sing a lick and still can't. Having said that, it's a fun trip down memory lane and his new band with Eric Singer on Drums is in fact better than the original band.

Having said all this, what was cool many years ago is now a caricature. RIP Alice.
PS. THE HD DVD had a LOT of bumps in it and I now know why Blue Ray won! June 15, 2008

Still Rockin'

Alice Cooper proves that he is alive and well in this amazing performance. In probably the best band lineup since the '70s, the show kicks off fast and the hits keep on coming. At first I heeded the words of other reviewers who bashed the camera and its seemingly ADD style of shooting, but I think it actually added to the show and helped create a sense of urgency and chaos. The only thing that kept me from giving this Blu-Ray disc a fifth star is the crowd. The first 10-15 rows are totally into it, and that's great. But after that, the crowd is formed of funny-hat-wearing jazz fans. May 19, 2008

All regions

I was very pleased when i could order this HD DVD from Alice Cooper
but then again i was very surpsised that even according to the info from
Amazon that the DVD was all regions it was region 1 so i am not able to
have a look at.

So please alter the region code in 1 and not in all regions. April 28, 2008

I double dipped for this

Well I owned it on DVD. When I saw it was on Blu Ray I had to buy it again.

Great show. Saw the same show in Halifax, Nova Scotia on May 2006. Watching the disc back is like being there all over again. Love it! Picture quality is awesome and the setlist is a gift for die hard Cooper fans!!! I Never Cry and I Wish I Were Born in Beverly Hills... pleasantly surprised!!! March 16, 2008

He's happy

My husband is a long time Alice Cooper fan. He mentioned this item to me earlier in the year, and I got it for him for Christmas this year. He's told me he's enjoyed it and that it's part of his collection. January 19, 2008
