That's all I'll reveal about the plot. What transpires next is a movie that feels it has a lot to say--on a subject that needs in-depth discussion--but get mired down by unbelievable twists and turns which turns this movie MUTE. Most of the characters introduced in this movie are so transparent you can see through them like used Neutrogena.
The filmmakers may have thought they hit a bullseye with their movie, but they were way off target. I would not recommend it. May 27, 2008
Good film that touches on all emotions
Religion = Hate Crime
Glad I gave this film a chance
The first part of the movie is a simple story of two men who live together in a normal neighborhood living a quiet normal life. We are slowly introduced to their family and friends as the story moves along. Watching the movie for the first time, the tension subtly builds blind-siding you with the hate crime. The second part of the movie turns dark as we see lives destroyed and forever changed by this senseless act of violence. This is not an easy movie to watch and understand, but I'm glad I ignored the negative reviews and watched.
Watch this film with an open mind and an open heart.
