Nacho Libre (2006)

HILARIOUS!

This movie gets funnier and funnier every time I watch it. Like The Life Aquatic, the movie is meant for a more sophisticated connoisseur of the humor in the human condition. It is the subtle details of the characters and their humor that make this movie shine. The music is fantastic and certainly adds, as it should, to the overall feel and pace of the movie. It is another indication of Mr. Blacks range. Those well traveled will recognize the subtle art of this movie imitating life. This movie is a gem.

Be afraid, be very afraid

This has to be the worst movie I have seen in several years. Please do not see this movie. My brother even warned me he wasted 2 hours of his life on this movie, but I thought, I sometimes like stupid movies. But this movie is too stupid. It will provide a few chuckles, but overall you will be sorry you watched it. I turned it off after an hour. I couldn't see anyway it could redeem itself from there. July 16, 2008

One Of My Favoriots

I like this movie alot! Napoleon Dynamite was hyped up alot as well, the best part of that movie was Uncle Rico I thought including the dance sequence. I never saw the movie ads for this movie but its definetly one of my favoriots. It is made by Nicolodeon (sorry I mistyped it) so I think it has kids more in mind so Jack Black is toned down a bit. I loved it I watch it all the time... If you dont buy it, atleast rent it first. :) June 28, 2008

One Great Comedy...

I have heard that this movie is considered one of the 100 great comedies of all time. I agree! You get a great story about a Catholic priest in Mexico who decides to become a wrestler to help his church. It is a touching story and would be great for kids, and anyone who might be interested in Mexican culture, esp their idea of wrestling. June 15, 2008
