Average user review:| A mix of funny/scary and boring... |
I watched two: "Moon of the Wolf" and "Mama Dracula."
They were both incredibly boring, but according to "Bindy Sue Frønkünschtein 'bigfootsalienbaby'," those are some of the worst. There was a surprising amount of nudity in the latter (and it wasn't like I was very interested, being a female not interested in females), which may explain the R-rating. It was also very hard to follow, everything was all over the place. One minute the professor was dancing with an Eastern European woman, the next, he was in a coach to Mama Dracula's castle. Although boring, some scenes were kind of funny.
The first movie was incredibly boring, and I couldn't sit through the whole thing. The girl was killed and for about the next 15 minutes, the chief walked around talking to bland and uninteresting characters for information.
I will watch the other movies recommended by the reviewer named above. Overall, I think $2 for anything makes it a good deal. I would buy it at the grocery store, not for $12. November 3, 2008

50 Drive-In "Classics" contained on 12 double-sided DVD's with mostly 4 movies per DVD.
Personally, I can't stand most of the current stuff from Hollywood; give me these cheese-classics anytime.
My personal favorites are The Guy From Harlem, Invasion of the Bee Girls, Katie's Passion, and Rattlers.
Lot's of choices, low-low price, and some personality...can't go wrong with this set. September 24, 2008

| Some Good Shiznat!!! |
The quality of these movies is not the best. And the biggest problem I have is the audio. Still it is not all that terrible, considering the age of most of these films.
For $13.00 I can say, "this compilation is great". I have watched 8 movies so far, and they are exactly what I expected. Total trash!!! Hehe. I expected more shock value (i.e. grinhouse, exploitation) types of movies. But for the price I can't complain.
Some of the movies on this collection are for sale at $15.00 a piece. And the ability to actually watch these movies (although edited?!!) is worth every penny. If they turn out to be somewhat decent, I might actually buy the remastered editions.
Bottom Line: Think of the movies you would find on 'up all night' with Rhonda Sheer, or 'Kung Fu Theatre'... or the legendary Elvira. That is what you're in for. July 24, 2008
