About Adam & Steve
"Laugh-out-loud absurdity." -OUT MagazineRaucously funny and sweetly romantic Adam & Steve is a twisted tender comedy that would surely make "John Waters cackle with glee" (LA Weekly). In the 1980s Adam (Craig Chester) and Steve (Malcolm Gets) had a horrifically embarrassing one-night stand. When they meet again years later they fail to recognize each other and fall in love-as do their wisecracking best friends (Parker Posey and Chris Kattan). Honest irreverent and a whole lot of fun Adam & Steve is all about making love work-whatever the odds.System Requirements:Running Time: 99 MinutesFormat: DVD MOVIE Genre: COMEDY Rating: NR UPC: 807839002287 Manufacturer No: TLAD151 Product Description

A B- Movie
On the other hand, parts of the movie are way over the top-- the diarrhea scene is disgusting, much of Rhonda's (Parkey Posey) stand-up comedy routine is boring, and Chris Kattan as Steve's straight roommate is miscast.
"Adam & Steve" is certainly not up to the quality of "Brokeback Mountain" but is better than a dozen low-budget gay-themed movies, whatever that means, the names of which I have long since forgotten. March 31, 2008
Romantic comedy of two men who are given a second chance.
I have not seen most of these actors except Chris Kattan and felt that the movie could not have been better cast! The acting is superb and well directed by the main character (Adam). The actors did an excellent job provoking all of the appropriate emotions and really captured the audience's attention very well.
The story is truly unique and blends a perfect mix of comedy, drama, romance, and most importantly, fun! Basically, the story begins with Adam (Craig Chester) and his best friend Rhonda (Parker Posey) who are at a 80s club in Manhattan. She suggests that he give into his feelings for a "dazzle dancer" Steve (Malcolm Gets) who he laid eyes on earlier for the first time. They soon discover that they are perfect for each other, but something goes wrong to upset the whole evening and they never see each other again. Years pass and fate reunites the destined couple once again, although neither Adam nor Steve realize who the other is after so much time. They fall in love all over again only to find out that this was the second time they had crossed paths. This time, Rhonda meets Steve's roommate Michael (Chris Kattan) and sparks begin to fly there as well! The whole story is non-stop humor and an emotional ride that will definitely keep you entertained from beginning to end!
I cannot recommend this movie highly enough as it provides a heartwarming story with an excellent cast. This has become a well-welcomed addition to my gay movie collection as I'm sure it would make an exceptional addition to yours! Grab your popcorn and enjoy! January 15, 2008
Funniest movie ever!!!!!!
A love connection that started with lust, a bit of coke and laxative turns into something beautiful...kinda!
The DVD contains unedited scenes and interviews with scenes from the dance rehearsals. November 15, 2007
