Good, Different, and Thought Provoking

This isn't my usualy horror genre but I thought it was worth a shot since I appreciate the work of Monica Keena. The acting was good, the movie quality was good, the plot was very good and pretty original. It had twists and it was certainly a movie that had me feeling numerous emotions. I felt sad, scared, and angry. Not many movies can do that nowadays. Anyway, if you like thrilled/suspense movies or if you're into movies about ghosts, demons, limbo, Heaven, Hell, and all of that stuff, go for this, it's certainly not a let down. March 30, 2008

Obscure Treasure

While this isn't a masterpiece, I had to speak up for this scrappy little flick. Real effort was put into a thought-provoking philosophical premise, and while there is unsubtle, talky exposition, there is also a lot of action. Plus if you liked watching Monica run around that Freddy film, you will be very happy. A few hard twists keep this from the cliche zone too. The loyal horror fan who is punch drunk from a thousand and one cauliflower eared cinematic palookas will shed grateful tears over this one. December 27, 2007

Full of loop holes

Such as when the main character tells another character that they can jump from a roof and not get hurt because they are already dead, then climbs down a gutter pipe.
Another wacky thing is for our heroine to "get to the light" she and her Grandpa/ zombie climb up a dumb waiter.

Full of bad acting and over acting, this direct to dvd can be viewed on cable. As for the extras.....there is a "documentary" on the cast and crew discussing thier 21st birthdays, which most of them cannot remember. I am going to pretend I saw this on my 21st birthday because I don't want to remember watching this mess. August 20, 2007

At least it cost as much to buy as to rent it.

Monica Keena's colagen lips were bigger than this movie's budget. The acting was decent considering its poor script and dialogue- Way to go Monica. No monsters. No darkness. Heaven and Hell consists of nothing more than recycled scenes. Nothing is scarier than realizing how much time you wasted watching it. There's no deep spiritual realization that everyone else claims. - Overall this film was lame. Rent "High Tension" if you're looking for fright or "Kolobus" for lower budget horror. Both

Awesome Original "Horror" Flick

Not your typical horror flick, and that's a good thing.
I enjoyed the actors and really cared about them.
The story had be hooked from the beginning and there were some creepy and scary moments. This movie also makes you think about life and death and is not one of those brainless blockbuster teen horror movies that make it to every movie screen. Instead, do some research and support independent horror movies. You'd do yourself a favor locating this gem. February 1, 2007
