Good b rated movie. Takes me back to the 70's. I am just sorry it is so chopped up and missing several scenes. It's to bad. This film would be even better. Not to be taken seriously, but just to enjoy, and have a laugh. March 25, 2008

WAR GODDESS
I have watched a lot of amazon movies (Battle of the Amazons, Gold of the Amazon Women, Cannibal Women in the Avocado Jungle of Death) and War Goddess stacks up as one of the better ones I have seen. However, I don't know if that says a whole lot for this genre. Admittedly, this movie is pure camp, but very fun if you like these kinds of movies. And plus it has a lot of pretty girls running around all over the place.

In this particular amazon village, in order to become an amazon, you have to first prove yourself by cutting off the head of a male. The amazons generally don't associate with men unless it is breeding time, which only comes at one particular time of the year. Kind of fun to watch the male protagonist of the film, a Greek character, attempt to sweettalk the Amazon Queen--while she remains steadfast in her hatred and utter disgust with men.

I should point out that this movie is not suitable for all ages. For example, there is a scene where barebreasted amazons fight in a dirt ring in order to be the next queen. There also appears to be some scenes that are a little disjoint in the story flow -- leading me to suspect that perhaps some scenes were cut out. But it's not going to effect your overall satisfaction with this movie.

The dialogue is also surprisingly good. And I take it that is because this movie comes from an era where you had to sell your movie on "story" and "dialogue" because cheesy special effects could not cut it. I would say if you like these types of movies, this one is certainly worth a look.

WAR GODS OF BABYLON
I found this to be a decent movie, I suppose. I'm not sure how it relates to the title on the front of the box: "When women ruled the earth." This movie is a tale of two rulers each loving the same girl, and it involves a fair amount of treachery and backstabbing. On the whole, this is a pretty ordinary movie from this era. Has a flood scene which you will either think is really cool, or you will simply laugh at. I can't really say much more about this movie without giving away the story. I honestly think if anything is going to interest you with this package, it is going to be War Goddess. April 4, 2007

War Goddess, good movie but but edition

"War Goddess" is a good movie, but have many different versions. In the Spanish version not have nudes but something scenes not see in the Italian or American version with nudes. In this copy your quality is very bad, Your image have many lines and have cut one scene, the wrestling enter two amazons nudes.
This ending with the Sabine Sun victory and this kisses your sister and rival.
In Italian version is suggested the homosexuality enter the Greeks, in this version is cut also. The encounter enter Greeks and Amazons have more things in the Italian version. One change of couples very particular: boy with boy, girl with girl.
Is very pity this version.
