About Josh Kirby...Time Warrior: Planet of the Dino Knights
Boy is Dad gonna be mad! Fourteen year-old Josh won't be home by curfew. For all Josh knows he won't be home for years. He's been accidentally zapped aboard the podcraft of time-travellers from the 25th century - travellers on a mission so urgent they don't have time to return him! Not that Josh minds. 'Cause it's cool to visit a topsy-turvy world where warriors ride dinosaurs. And it's cooler to save the universe from the wicked schemes of the pursuing time-traveller Dr. Zoetrope! How's Josh ever going to explain this to Dad?Run Time: 91 minutesFormat: DVD MOVIE Genre: ANIMATION/ADULT SWIM Rating: PG UPC: 844628090797 Manufacturer No: DH9079 Product Description

This episode happens to take them to eleventh century England, where the protagonists ally themselves with a blacksmith against an evil prince who has a tyrannosaurus rex to aid in his domination. (Seriously.) Fortunately Josh is able to lure a triceratops to the village with apples where he is able to saddle it and ride it into battle, foreshadowing the next episode, which is, sadly, sold separately.
This is a completely ridiculous series, but is amusing in the same way "Land of the Lost" is: anything combining time travel, spacecraft, dinosaurs, an evil prince, a renaissance fair, and an incinerated bicycle has to have some entertainment value, and this does if you watch it with the right mindset.
