rating: 3 QuoteA good follow up to the WM Main EventQuote
Wrestlemania began a few new storylines. Some ran pretty strong into the summer. This ppv was pretty good. A couple of matches did have some weak build up coming in. To include Vince's most ridiculous and offensive(to some) angle ever.

Carlito vs. Chris Masters
A decent opener. This rivalry began when they couldn't function as a team any longer. Some decent build up and the match was decent. Nothing really special. Some counters, Carlito using flying moves off the ropes and a pretty slick ending. 3/5

Ric Flair vs. Umaga
This was a feud that wasn't meant to be. It was suppose to put Umaga over but I don't think it really did him much justice. A pretty quick match, almost a total squash. And Flair should not be getting squashed by anybody. 2.5/5

WWE Women's Title Match
Mickie James vs. Trish Stratus
I was really looking for this Wrestlemania rematch. It started a bit quick pace. Too bad Trish suffered a real injury and Mickie eventually sabotaged the match losing by DQ. Sad to say, this one is skip material.2/5

Money in The Bank vs. IC Title Winner takes all
RVD vs. Shelton Benjamin
Not too much build up for this match. Started out kind of slow but never really lost its spark. It later picked up and became an instant classic in my book. Great, great athleticism from both of these athletes. Some excellent counters from Shelton. Several near falls graced with a good ending. This is one of the best. 5/5

Big Show vs. Kane
If there is one superstar who is the constant victim of overly stupid storylines it has to be Kane. One stupid storyline after another. And the match wasn't any better. Two big men and the match was not high impact at all. And the ending sucked bad to me. 1.5/5

Shawn Michaels & "God" vs. Vince Mcmahon & Shane
The most retarded storyline ever. Possibly worst than Katie Vick if possible. The match started off and flowed very well until Vince actually paused in the match to basically mock God yet again. The match had some intereference but added to overall angle which resulted in possibly the best feud of the year. So in the end this match did its job. 4/5

Triple Threat Match for the WWE Title
John Cena vs. Triple H vs. Edge
The match of the night without a doubt. This match had just about everything as far as entertainment is concerned. Intereference, brawling, high impact slams, weapon use, outside the ring action, and blood. Some pretty good spots too and after match attacks. These guys bought their best. I enjoyed this match. 5/5

A very good follow up to WM. To bad it took RAW a couple of ppv's to surpass this one. I think this one is worth a buy for a cheap price. Only a couple of duds. October 1, 2007

Hey guys, I didn't watch the PPV b/c of that STUPID God Angle.

Vince should be ASHAME of himself, The Bible Says Thou Shalt not use the Lord's name in vain, and Thou Shalt have no other Gods before me.

I'm glad I didn't waste my money on the PPV or the DVD, but I do remember the Joey Styles Shoot Promo and it was AWESOME.

I'm glad he mention Vince mocking God and making out w/the Divas and that STUPID Spirit Squad.

I suggest that you don't waste your money on this or Wrestlemania 22, get TNA Lockdown 2006 DVD.

It is BETTER than Wrestlemania 22 and BACKLASH 2006.

Believe me! April 9, 2007

WWE Championship
Triple H vs. Randy Orton
match: The night after Wrestlemania there will be #1 Contender's Battle Royal for the WWE title and Randy Orton which Orton will wiin( last eliminating Cena who will get screwed by Umaga). This will be a great match, sort of like there match at the Royal Rumble. While the ref is knocked out Edge will spear Triple H and call for Orton to go for the Conchairto. Then Cena will come out and beat the hell out of Edge and hit Orton with a chair. Then a groggy Triple H will make the cover and win the match.
Winner and still WWE Champion Triple H in 21 minutes

John Cena vs. Umaga
match: After Umaga screws Cena out of a shot at WWE title he'll face him at Backlash. Umaga will control most of the match but Cena will come back and hit the FU but Umaga will kick out. They' ll take the fight to the outside and both get counted out. Then Cena will FU Umaga through the announce table!
No Winner due to Double Count Out in 8 minutes

3 Stages of Hell( Hardcore, Steel Cage match, and ladder) for the IC title
Shawn Micheals vs. Edge
match: After WM Edge will cheat to beat Jeff Hardy and win the IC title and Micheals will challenge him to this match. Edge will get the first fall with a Spear through a table( sort of like WM 22 only it's not fire), Micheals will get second fall with a Diving Elbow off the top of the cage, and Micheals will get the final fall when he pushes him off the ladder through a bunch of tables and climb the ladder to win.
Winner: Shawn Micheals in 35 minutes

Fatal Four Way
Jeff Hardy vs. Carlito vs. Johnny Nitro vs. Shelton Benjamin
match: This match will happen after all these people come to the ring and say they should get a #1 Contender's spot. This will be a great athletic match. The highlights will be Shelton will hit a Running Senton over the top on everyone, Carlito will hit the Powerbomb/Superplex move on Benjamin and Hardy, and Jeff hitting a Leg Drop off the top rope and hitting Nitro through the announce table. The match will end with Jeff hitting the Swanton on Nitro.
