About Trespassers
On his way to meet his long lost brother in Baja for some big waves and bigger parties Colin and his buddies leave the tourist traps behind and enter unmarked back roads with darkness descending. Lost and unnerved they steer through a night of wrong turns and freakish encounters finally arriving at crashing waves in the morning with no one else to be found. The remains of bloody carnage at a missing surfers' campsite reveals that they've stumbled on evil ground still cursed by brutalized souls thirsty for blood and now these trespassers have little chance of getting out alive! PROS OF "TRESPASSERS":
1. The zombies were kind of cool and creepy.
2. The torture scenes, with El Gringro were very good, and that showed SOME promise.
3. Although the camera was shaky, at least the quality was good!
4. The storyline was kind of good, but it had it's flaws (see below).
CONS OF "TRESPASSERS":
1. The camera was terrible!
2. The acting was so terrible, it was unbearable!
3. There were parts of the plot that made absolutely no sense at all!
4. The darkness made it hard to see what was going on.
5. We rarely ever see dead bodies.
6. The ending sucked big time!
7. But, at least it ended!
Okay, this is basically what went down in the process of this movie. When the torture scenes came by, there was at least a glimmer of promise, but it just fell apart in the end. The ending was awful. Just, rent if you really wanna see it! January 11, 2008
Less is More - Brilliant
The storyline follows a band of five young surfers as they head to a remote piece of Mexican beach to hook up with central character's brother. When they finally arrive their day starts off well with some hot surfing from the guys and a bit of topless nudity from the girls. But when they start wandering among the sand dunes around them - what they discover is very disturbing. Abandonned SUV's, fleash picked human skeletons and by now the party has already been split up. Things don't get any better for anyone. Raw gritty and real - this is a hardcore mexican surfer zombie movie without a scrap of humour in it. I'm sure we will hear more about this among zombie fans as more people discover it. October 7, 2006
So Dark You Can Hardly See A Thing
Good grade B horror with a message
The acting shows potential with the hot girls, handsome leads, and some quirky perverted videographer who is part of this young group on a road trip adventure to a Baja surf camp. Michelle Borth is a pretty and talented young actress. Kaiwi Lyman plays a sensitive and athletic lead who we hope to see more of. The horrors they face are the horrors we face when, to our peril, we don't keep our eyes open to the horrific fundamentalist agenda. May 29, 2006
