The most monumental waste of great beauty & talent in soft porn history

Stripping can be one of the sexiest things a woman can do; even moving her body seductively, almost regardless of how she's clothed or not, can be a great joy to watch. This DVD has almost NONE of the former--nearly all the women arrive onscreen fully naked, which seems a great lost opportunity. The latter deserves further comment:

Giving models tips or instructions is, apparently, common in modeling & porn--no big deal. Some women are probably helped by it, & some clearly need it. What happens here is different than anything I've witnessed before: The cameraman/director is clearly instructing these women to pose in ways that are nothing short of ACHINGLY CONTRIVED. They're obviously being told to pose, statue-like, in a most unnatural way, staring at the camera like deer in the headlights, looking none too comfortable or pleased about the whole thing. It just ain't sexy, no matter how gorgeous the view! I practically feel embarrassed for these gals, because they no doubt have a much better idea of what really does it for lovers of the female form than does the director. I sensed a real control freak on the other end of the camera, who apparently has very specific ideas about what HE wants, but very little concept of what most of the REST of us find exciting (judging by what else is out there that sells).

It's almost painful to watch, which is a real shame, because virtually every woman in this production ranges from beautiful to strikingly beautiful, &, given the slightest chance for them to move in ways that come naturally to women, this DVD could have been breathtaking.

Another issue I found annoying is that the camera would pan women's bodies much like it might a wide panorama of, say, a mountain range. In other words, we get slow, lingering shots of various body parts in most segments (usually with the bored model standing stock-still), but often little sense that it's actually more interesting to see a face & a body simultaneously--that they're connected.

Then there's the title: There's no special attention at all paid to buns or legs. For fans of the female derriere, there are moments of course, but nothing unforgettably revealing, & more satisfaction can be found by randomly checking out good PH, HB or Peach DVDs. As far as my all-time favorite, the full rear view with eye contact, there's practically none of it here.

Worth renting for the beauty, the production values are excellent, & my hat's off to Mystique for finding these stunning women--but I've never seen the ball dropped like this before. October 10, 2007

OK but Oddly Titled

This is a strangely titled DVD, given that some of the women are never shown from the back and at least one is never even shown from the waist down, which sort of gives credence to Mystique's fly-by-night reputation. They try to be classy but seldom raise themselves above B- or C-class productions like this. At least the segments are relatively short and to the point; there's only so much slo-mo footage of a woman running her hands over her body before one is tempted to hit the fast-forward button. If you're interested in this kind of thing, I'd at least recommend that you get it discounted or used. March 10, 2007
