Oyster Farmer (2004)

A delightfully winning comedy, Oyster Farmer is the story of Jack Flange, an enterprising young man, who robs a fish market and mails the cash to a secluded close-knit community of oyster farmers. When the parcel goes missing, and the police start coming around, he suspects the precious package was found by one of his neighbors, a local beauty named Pearl, to whom he becomes irresistibly attracted. This movie was wonderful - alittle odd to hear Alex O'Loughlin talking in his native tongue when he didn't sound like that in Moonlight but as usual he did a super acting job in this movie. Very cute story, well written, great actors - a movie worth watching. I would recommend this movie to anyone. September 2, 2008

Alex O'Loughlin plays a very good part in this movie. It is amazing how
well he can play different characters. Example, Feed and Moomlight.
In Oyster Farmer he plays a gentle loving brother and how he adapts to
rough country living. Some of the scenes of the Australian coastline

I bought this movie because of Alex O'Loughlin and found the story to be well written and well acted. Alex of course is always believable in his roles. I recommend this movie to any of Alex's fans July 31, 2008
