I absolutely love this movie! It's enjoyable for the entire family and an incredible story of overcoming struggles and chasing your dreams. Also, the best part is that it's inspired by a true story. Dakota Fanning is fantastic as usual and the way she and Kurt Russell work together on this film is a joy to watch. Anyone who is a fan of horses or horse racing should watch this movie.
April 4, 2008This is a very good fact based drama. The story is solid, but what makes this film outstanding is the cast chosen, and not enough good things can be said about them. Kurt Russell is a horse trainer from Kentucky. His look and mannerisms are spot on, and he carries this role well. Dakota Fanning is the daughter and the heart of the movie with Elizabeth Shue cast as mom. Kris Kristoferson is the father/grandfather, and no one could have played this role. His gruff unbending exterior is flawless.

March 18, 2008This is a story about a young girl, her Father and Grandfather on a ranch that once was known for raising race horses but no longer boards any horses. Kurt Russell and Dakota Fanning do a great job of acting as well as does Kris Kristofferson. I enjoyed watching this movie with my Grandchildren serveral times. Excellent movie.

This is a very upbeat movie for all ages. Great for young people because it has a wonderful story line.
