About Buried Alive
The cool mountain air of Shadow Valley is pierced with the sound of explosions echoing through the timber as Danny Santiago and his excavation crew blast away at a construction site for the Diamondback Estates a series of condominiums being built at the base of Diamondback Mountain by millionaire developer Donald Richardson (Robert Pine). It is to these new condos that Mark Decker a veteran fire fighter has come to try and reconcile with his recently separated wife Emma and their teenage son Steven. The tension between Emma and Mark is undeniable yet incomparable to the tension building in the ground beneath them. Slowly tremors begin to swell and small cracks form over the face of the Diamondback Mountain ridge. Then in an instant the earth breaks open swallowing hikers trees and electrical towers and turns the entire mountain face into a rolling avalanche of soil timber and rock- destroying everything in its wake and engulfing Diamondback Estates. The dust finally settles and the destruction is over yet the nightmare is only beginning for those buried under the landslide. Emma who marginally escaped is left helpless as her husband son and father Donald Richardson are all trapped within Diamondback Estates. Despite the risk of unsettled ground Danny Santiago frantically digs to unearth his pregnant wife Maria who is going into labor. With time running out and the structure slowly filling with deadly carbon monoxide Doyle must rely on his firefighter skills to navigate the complex avoid poisonous Diamondback snakes and the constant threat of collapse and find a way above ground before all hope is lost.System Requirements:Running Time: 95 MinFormat: DVD MOVIE Genre: ACTION/ADVENTURE Rating: PG UPC: 031398187837 Manufacturer No: 18783 Product Description

A new condominium complex is endangered by irresponsible blasting and since there is a villain out to keep his name clean, the resulting landslide is not a surprise. Once again, we have a hero who is estranged from his wife and son, and a corporate biggie who is the wife's daddy, too. Everything pretty much goes as expected and unfortunately the special effects are pretty inadequate.
For disaster movie freakos, this one's passable. January 28, 2007
Good Movie!
So Deep It is hard to uncover the story.
So So
It was watcheable but played more like a soap opera with all these sub-plots.
