good old 90's action flicks

I'm giving the three combination of the movies in this disk 5 stars but for one movie that I'm going to be review is "Day of the Warrior", I rated it 4/10.

It was poor but funny. It has become a classic among me and my friends because it is so bad. There are moments when you can't help bursting out with awkward dialogue and gratuitous clothes changing. Elvis Fu is a virtual bevy of ethnic jokes.

Three Of Andy's Best Movies

DO OR DIE (1991). Pat Morita plays the international crime boss known as Kane. He hires six teams of assassins to kill federal agents Donna Hamilton (Playboy Playmate Dona Speir) and Nicole Justin (Playboy Playmate Roberta Vasquez). Playing against type, Pat makes for a very convincing villain. Also playing against character is the gorgeous Ava Cadell, who normally works on the side of the federal agents. In this film, she plays the hottest assassin of them all, who makes putting on her clothes sexier than most strippers taking off their clothes! Erik Estrada plays agent Richard Estaban in the finest acting performance of his career. Playboy Playmate Cynthia Brimhall plays agent Edy Stark, while the super sexy Carolyn Liu is Silk, Kane's lover and partner in crime. The majority of this movie involves the successive teams of killers, as they track the agents from Hawaii, to the desert outside of Las Vegas, to bayou country in Louisiana. The agents successfully thwart each team of assassins, leaving only Kane and Silk alive at the end of the film. This is my favorite Andy Sidaris movie.

HARD HUNTED (1992). Inexplicably, R.J. Moore (Roger Moore's son) has taken over the role of the international crime boss known as Kane. After smuggling a nuclear trigger from China, Kane offers it to a Middle Eastern leader. Before the sale is final, a female secret agent goes undercover and steals it away. Unfortunately, she's killed when giving it to her fellow agents. Then it's up to Donna Hamilton (Dona Speir), Nicole Justin (Roberta Vasquez), Edy Stark (Cynthia Brimhall), and Ava (Ava Cadell) to once again save the day. The action culminates with Kane on the verge of getting the nuclear trigger back, only to have it destroyed in an attempt to kill the L.E.T.H.A.L. (Legion to Ensure Total Harmony And Law) agents. When will these villains ever learn, business before pleasure!

DAY OF THE WARRIOR (1996). Professional wrestler Marcus 'Buff' Bagwell plays the criminal mastermind known as the Warrior. Really good at multitasking, the Warrior runs diamond smuggling, priceless art theft, and bootleg porno movie operations. Things really heat up when a mole cracks the L.E.T.H.A.L. computer database and steals the files that reveal the true identities and locations of the L.E.T.H.A.L. agents. Julie Strain, who previously played villains, plays L.E.T.H.A.L. agent Willow Black. In two of the film's funniest scenes, Willow's breasts really pack a punch! Cobra (Penthouse Pet Julie K. Smith), Tiger (Playboy Playmate Shae Marks), and Scorpion (B-movie babe Tammy Parks) discover the L.E.T.H.A.L. mole and help defeat the Warrior.

Unfortunately, the three discs come in a cheap case that normally only fits two discs. It's designed so that two discs fit on one side, one of top of the other. In addition, the case is so tight in the box it comes in, I almost ripped the box trying to get the case out of it. There's no detailed booklet for each movie, only an insert with each movie's name and the titles of the chapters. There's a very brief description of each movie on the back of the DVD box. I was expecting the release of "The Andy Sidaris Collection, Volume Two," with six movies in separate cases, to match the Volume One Collection. Taking all of that into consideration, I have to deduct one star from what would have been a five star review. March 5, 2006

Classic B Movies

If your looking for movies that feature "acting" or "good writing" or other similar highbrow features, these movies arent for you. IF, however, you enjoy those movies that come on late at night and dont take themselves too seriously, then these are for you.

They feature memorable lines you will find yourself repeating to your buddies for weeks. Beautiful woman, guns, completely pointless nudity, and explosions. If the movies were music videos - think 80's hair band. Excellent Excellent guy entertainment. February 4, 2006
