The synopsis given has nothing to do with this movie.

Carmen Maura plays a neglected housewife and mother who takes a job as a temporary chef in Paris in order to find her childhood crush who visited Barcelona every summer. The scenery is gorgeous, showing off the amazing ambiences of Barcelona and Paris. The movie is refreshing and uplifting, with the usual Spanish liberalness toward sexuality adding some very unexpected yet hilarious scenes for the American viewer. You'll fall instantly in love with this movie, I promise. January 9, 2006
