I am in 100% disagreement with the other reviewers on these new Funny Factory sets from Disney. Yes, most of the material is on other sets. Five of the seven toons are on the first two Chronological Donald sets and obviously the other two toons will be on the further volumes of that series. But I certainly don't feel Disney is trying to rip buyers off by trying to get them to buy the same toons again. I mean if you just do your homework you'll know that these toons do appear on those other sets. As I own both the Chronological Donald sets then I will not buy this one. That said...NOT everyone owns those sets. These and some of the other Disney DVDs are a good way to get some classic shorts for a very moderate price. While the Disney Treasures sets are aimed squarely at collectors, the Funny Factory sets are more geared towards kids.

I don't think I'd call any of the seven toons on this DVD among the very best of Donalds work, but they are all pretty good. My favorites are:

The Window Washers (1940) 8:00 Donald and Pluto are washing windows on a skyscraper and run into a little Bee trouble. Great slapstick fun!

Donald's Golf Game (1938) 7:17 - Donald is trying to enjoy a leisurely game of gold but his nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie decide to play tricks on their uncle.

I give this DVD a solid four stars for the content in the price. Definitely worth the money if you don't have the Disney treasures sets.

First let me say that these are ***** five star cartoons!

It is the repetition that gives this DVD only two stars. And there are ONLY 2 'NEW TO DVD' CARTOONS HERE (one of which is getting re-issued again in 2007)! Disney is again trying to get you to purchase the same cartoons over & over!

VOLUME TWO: WALT DISNEY'S FUNNY FACTORY WITH DONALD

CANVAS BACK DUCK (1953 - 1ST TIME ON DVD!)
At a carnival, Donald takes tests of strength in order to impress his nephews. When a scrawny kid challenges Donald to beat his dad, Donald immediately agrees. Then he sees the dad, a hulking Peewee Pete. Donald reluctantly steps into the ring, but finds a funny way to win the match.

DONALD's COUSIN GUS (1939 - repeat from the "Disney Treasures Chronological Donald Vol #1")
Donald's goose cousin, Gus, comes to visit and practically eats Donald out of house and home. A frustrated Donald tries everything he can think of to get rid of his over-eating relative.

DADDY DUCK (1948 - 1st TIME ON DVD, but announced for the December 11 2007 release of "Disney Treasures: Chronological Donald 3")
Donald gets stuck taking care of a kangaroo. When he teaches the kangaroo not to be afraid of a bear rug, Donald proceeds to get swallowed by the bear and must be rescued by the kangaroo.

WINDOW CLEANERS (1940 - repeat from the "Disney Treasures Chronological Donald Vol #1")
Donald and Pluto comically mishandle washing the windows of a very tall building. When Donald goads a high-flying bee, the job goes from bad to hysterically awful.

SELF CONTROL (1938 - repeat from the "Disney Treasures Chronological Donald Vol #1")
Donald tries to get his legendary temper under control through the advice of a radio therapist named Uncle Smiley. Donald tries to take a soothing rest to relax, but a woodpecker, an uncooperative hammock and more obstacles make sure that Donald stays as quick-tempered as ever.

CONTRARY CONDOR (1944 - repeat from the "Disney Treasures Chronological Donald Vol #2")
Donald, climbing in the Andes, finds a condor nest and pockets an egg. The mother condor returns and thinks Donald is one of her own. She tries to teach him how to fly, with uproariously disastrous results. To straighten things out, Donald returns the egg.

DONALD'S GOLF GAME (1938 - repeat from the "Disney Treasures Chronological Donald Vol #1")
Donald shows off his golf game to his nephews, but his nephews are more interested in making Donald look bad. Trick clubs and a grasshopper inside a golf ball are only some of the funny ways that the nephews sabotage Donald's game.

When "The Three Little Pigs" first cam out it was so popular that there were requests for sequals of this classic cartoon, but Walt DIsney did not like to repeat himself as he said "You can't top pigs with pigs!" So it seems to me that the folks at the Disney company are going behind the bears back and again double dipping there cartoons in a new series called "Walt Disney's Funny Factory" I mean seriously how many times are the disney company going to make these compalation DVDs are the Treasures and the "Classic Cartoon Favorites" series enough!?
