Season Two

Showtime aired several great sci-fi series, such as: The Outer Limits, Star Gate SG1, Jeremiah, and Odyssey 5; these series were all ended prematurely. The Outer Limits ran six seasons on Showtime, to be picked up by the Sci-fi Channel for a final seventh season. Star Gate SG1 ran five seasons on Showtime, to be picked up by the Sci-fi Channel for another five seasons; Star Gate SG1 also saw the rise of a successful spin off series, Star Gate Atlantis, and two movies. Jeremiah ran two seasons on Showtime, but the producers saw the end coming and gave the story a decent resolution; the Sci-fi Channel is currently airing this series. Like The Outer Limits, which is missing the last six seasons on DVD, MGM has still to release the second and final season of Jeremiah on DVD. Odyssey 5 ran one season on Showtime, to be axed without a nice resolution but it was rushed to DVD.

Roughly translated, don't bother watching science fiction on Showtime (even though it's great) until another network picks it up; and don`t hope for a complete release if MGM's in charge. August 3, 2008

Where is Season 2 and the rest of the series? This excellent series does not deserve to languish!
The studio's need to heed consumer interest. Please add to these ratings as the studio's do take them in to account.

Quality 4 star, the show itself..... a 5 star most definetly

I received this Season one pack yesterday. Disk#1 with episodes 1-3, turned out to be defective, unreadable, and would not play what so ever. Disks 2-5 are all okay. I am now in the process of returning this item for replacement.

This being the only reason I give this item 4 stars. The show itself as a whole, is most definetly 5 stars, and recommended highly to any Sci-Fi enthusiast.

As most have stated in previous posts, I sure hope they come out with other seasons shortly. I did however find a sponsored link from this site and other sites such as google sponsoring this site with the sale of a complete box set of seasons 1-7, below being the link....

I will wait a bit longer but I think I might say, &^%%$^%@, and buy this full set....its the only I could find on the web as being a sponsored site....I do not know however if these are cut versions of the original episodes.....it seems that other seasons from here or others just are not ever going to be released.

I hope this helps others, and again I would like to re-iterate that this show is very highly recommended, a five star most definetly; more stars if I could give it.

Five Star Show, Three Star DVD

As with Sliders, which I also ordered, because I'm such a big fan of Outer Limits, I'd gladly order it all over again even knowing how much the DVD's leave to be desired. One of the episodes wouldn't play, and caused the DVD player itself to lock up to where I had to turn it off to even get the DVD to eject. All the others did play. My favorite episode is Conversion - really, the one I bought the DVD for. Everything about that episode - from the opening music to the very end - was perfect. And since I'm one of these people who considers even the credits at the end to be part of the show, it's great not to have them scrunched up so that another show can be advertised (like on SciFi Channel). I've since ordered several of the package-deal DVD's that separate the series by genre. Haven't watched any yet, so I can only hope these DVD's are ok. February 1, 2008

A vote for season two and beyond!

I snatched up this excellent follow on rendition of outer limits as soon as I found it in October of 2005 and I'm still waiting for season 2 and all the other excellent seasons.

I've had to resort to watching this excellent anthology on my digital cable channel (Showtime), but I would very much like to have all the rest of the episodes for all seasons of this show on DVD.

To who it may concern...if you want my money, then let's get it together and put the remaining seasons of this fabulous show on DVD! December 8, 2007
