To Whom it may concern, "Fame" the series did get better as it went along. I personally loved it from the beginning, but I think many people are or would be interested in the later episodes with Nia Peeples, Jessie Borrego, Michael Cerveris, Cynthia Gibb, and especially Janet Jackson. I think sales would improve with the later seasons and this in turn would cause greater sales across the board. Or as another reviewer astutely mentioned license it out to some other distributor with less overhead and make the money that way. It is too good of a show to be left on the shelf! "So you think you can Dance" is doing well! I think the time is right for another try! Thank you!
July 20, 2008I have really enjoyed watching this series again, and sharing it with my teenage daughter. We hope the rest of the series is put on dvd! Fame is wonderful!
July 12, 2008 | | Sell Fame to an independent company! | |
Fans of Fame are waiting way too long for the 5 remaining seasons to be released on DVD! MGM should have licensed Fame to an independent company years ago. 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment was a very bad choice, and Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is the WORST! The correct choices would have been MPI Home Video or Shout! Factory. Maybe it is not too late. Please license fame to one of those independents for the fans of the Show!
July 3, 2008I remember watching the Fame TV show when it was first shown years ago and thought it was an excellent program. I was very pleased when it came out on DVD and was able to see the series again. i found the TV version much better than the movie version. The episodes were written very well. I am only sorry that there were so few episodes.
