Whoopi Goldberg on Broadway

Academy Award winning actress Whoopi Goldberg is at it again -On Broadway.
This show is as enjoyable and good as her 1980's show. I hope we don't have to wait years for her to come back -Now that Whoopi Goldberg is on "The View" she ought to get a lot of material -such as Senator Hillary Clinton earning more votes in the 2008 Presidential Primary race than any of her rivals, and more votes than any Presidential Primary candidate in History. PRAISE FOR WHOOPI GOLDBERG

I've followed Whoopi Goldberg's career from its beginning. When I found this 20th anniversary edition I had to have it. What makes Whoopi Goldberg who she is - is her raw uncensored truth especially her political views. She has no problem taking sensitive topics and putting her Whoopi brand on them and bringing you along for the ride. Her candid frankness is what makes her a unique talent in this world. This is an excellent project. She's always been one of my sheros.

LMAO

If you liike Whhopi and her brand of humor you will love this. My mother is a big fan so I saw the original when I was still small and didn't really understand the jokes. When the anniversary show came on cable of course I had to watch it. I laughed the whole way through my sides were hurting. When I saw the DVD for sale I got a copy for myself and one for my mother. It includes the original show, which I can appreciate these days. May 13, 2007

Watch the new Performace

While it is fun to watch the first original performance, really, the second anniversary is truly wonderful.

A mature, wizer and more funny Whoops is in the second performance.

I love both, but man I wish I had been at the second performance to witness The Whoops genius in full swing.

I bought this specifically to get the DVD of the original one woman show which is incredible and worth the whole price.

The newer performance is OK but is more like a regular stand up routine.
