Ruby in Paradise (1993)

Why the heck isn't this on DVD yet?

I saw this film in the theatre back in '93 or so, and walked out of the darkness thinking that Judd had a great career ahead of her. Now over ten years later, it seems that R-in-P is destined to be her best film ever. I'd buy this movie in a heartbeat were it available on DVD. What's the problem? No distributor? March 18, 2008

always with me

I lived alone for a very long time before getting married and having children. I would watch this movie periodically to help me feel at peace with myself and my place in this world. Ashley Judd is very good and I am always hopeful she'll someday give a comparable performance in another film. Thank you Victor Nunez for this memorable film. August 4, 2007

The Emerald Coast Dream

I loved this film. Anyone who grew up in the South and vacationed in Panama city, and dreamed of living there, will relate to this movie in a special way. Growing up, it was a magical place for me and I always wondered what it would be like to just take off and live there.
Ruby does this and finds out...this is a great film, I think it is Ashley Judd's best film...I believe it is her first.
I wish they would release it on DVD. July 8, 2007
