I bought this title hoping for an American take on Rosamunde Pilcher's novel of the same name and I was soooooooooooo disappointed. I have not ever watched the entire movie.
July 1, 2008i was waiting for this boring movie to start it was colorful set in nice place the boys unlikable weird ansty nothing happens should have read the comments first i thought this was a Pilcher novel also..............so sorry to waste my time
June 7, 2008I ordered this product thinking it was based on Rosamunde Pilcher's inter Solstice. It was not! What a drag! The film ended and I thought I had fallen asleep during it and decided to watch it again. I did not make any sense.
March 24, 2008Rosamunde Pilcher wrote a wonderful story called WINTER SOLSTICE. This bleak film bears no resemblance to her story and should not be advetised as such. I was vastly disappointed!!!
