Worth the purchase!

Tales from the Crypt is the ultimate guilty pleasure! The acting and plots are very entertaining...as well as the effects! July 18, 2008

The First of Many

At first I was a bit hesitant to buy this season first just because there are only 6 episodes in this set. I wanted a set with a whole bunch of episodes to re-introduce myself to Tales, but I bought the first season first anyway, I figured I'd start from the beginning.

Season One offers some really cool "short films" from some of Hollywood's biggest producers (Zemeckis, Hill, and Donner), and their style is felt throughout each episode. My personal favorite in this set is "The Man Who Was Death" which features William Sadler (of Demon Knight). Other highlights include: "And All Through the House," and "Dig That Cat...He's Real Gone."

Not only are most of the episodes really cool, but the packaging is really rad too. My only complaint here is that the Crypt Keeper hadn't found his trademark voice yet...but oh well, there are still some fun episodes in this set. June 15, 2008

great!!!!!!!

I grew up watching this show, and i have all 7 seasons plus the double feature anyone who is a horror buff like me should start buying these seasons they are just as funny and scary as i remembered them. June 8, 2008

Entertaining First Season From A Great Show!

I enjoyed this set very much, the sound and picture is outstanding. And all six stories are very interesting. My favorite is "And All Though The House" it scared my seat off! and I also enjoyed "Collection Completed," "Only Sin Deep," and "Dig That Cat... He's Real Gone." Trust me, if you like this show, you'll love this set!
