Diary of a mad black woman by Tyler Perry is one of my favorite all time movie's. I had a hard time locating the movie to buy in the local stores. I went to Amazon.com and found it right off with a decent price to pay for it. When I need a movie I usually order it from Amazon. I have found several other movies that I bought on amazon.com that I couldn't find no where else. Thanks Amazon September 2, 2008

False advertising! This is not a comedy!

After seeing the YouTube scene release that featured Tyler Perry I laughed so hard I had to buy the DVD. The DVD cover would also suggest that the movie is about Tyler Perry's mother character, and he (SHE) is the mad black woman. Unfortunately this movie is only 10% of Tyler Perry's gut busting comedy. The other 90% is a stupid "relationship drama" that wasn't worthy of a movie storyline. The "mad black woman" is actually the young girl. August 3, 2008

Movie

My husband and I first saw this movie on our satallite TV and loved it.
We definitely wanted to own it! I knew it was an older movie so I thought it would be easy to find in the bargain bin at Wal-mart. No such luck. I checked with several video stores to see if it were for sale. They didn't have it either. I was ready to give up, when someone suggested I try [...]. I got on their site and there it was. I was so excited to be able to puchase it. I also orderd a second copy for my l5 year old granddaughter, when I found out it was also one of her favorite movies. I highly recommend this movie, and you can find it on [...]. Thanks again [...]!!!!!

This Movie Contains Many "Lessons"

Last Summer, a friend of mine recommended Diary of a Mad Black Woman. She said after watching it the first time, it immediately became her favorite movie. I can see why; her marriage of over 20 years ended very much like the character Helen's marriage.

I recently watched it again for the twentieth or so time with my family over the 4th of July weekend. When I asked my sister what she thought about the movie, she said she had trouble sleeping because of it. She said she kept having different scenes go through her mind. To me, that really says the movie was right on the mark.

I highly recommend the movie. I have to warn you. It is not for the faint of heart. It vividly displays a side of humanity some of us have unfortunately seen. It shows how cruel, heartless and self-centered some people can be when they walk out of a marriage. The truly troubling aspect of this is how horribly these people treat their spouse who in many cases has invested so much time, effort and love into their marriage. It also shows how these people eventually have to face what they have done to someone they professed to love and promised to protect. I challenge you to watch this movie; it contains many "lessons" if you watch it closely. July 26, 2008

Diary of A Mad Black Woman

This was the first movie I've seem that Tyler Perry produced, and it was very entertaining. I would highly recommend this movie to any woman (or man) who has been hurt in a relationship and could use laughter right now. July 1, 2008
