The Cincinnati Kid is the BEST poker movie made!! Steve McQueen, Karl Malden, Ann-Margret were great in this film but Edward G Robinson steals the show as Lancey Howard. For the young folk this movie was how professional poker was played in the back rooms and alleys.

Every poker fan should take his or her copy of "Rounders" and toss it in the back of your DVD collection and get a copy of "The Cincinnati Kid" May 22, 2008

Another great McQueen film!! He is truly the epitome of "cool" and this picture features Tuesday Weld and Ann Margaret to boot! There was a surprise ending which really added to the overall affect of this vintage poker film. June 11, 2007

Led by Steve McQueen and Edward G. Robinson, this all-star cast, and an excellent story base make this one of the greatest of all movies - whether you are a poker fan or not. April 17, 2007

Everything about this movie is great. First, the characters are three dimensional. They're believable and interesting. The story is well-focused and always entertaining. Steve McQueen is great. The ending is both somewhat suprising (yet logical and forelorned) and trite. January 23, 2007
